The morpholine is a colorless, alkaline, oily liquid with an ammoniacal odor.
Product Use
It can be used in the production of rubber vulcanization accelerators and is also used in the synthesis of surfactants, textile dyeing and printing auxiliaries, pharmaceuticals, and pesticides. Morpholine is also used as a catalyst for the polymerization of butadiene, a corrosion inhibitor, and an optical bleaching agent. It is also a solvent for dyes, resins, waxes, latex, and casein. It serves as an intermediate for the fungicide morpholine acrylate, fluoromorpholine, and the organophosphorus insecticide morpholine thiophosphate.
