Product Use
Ethanolamine is used in the preparation of various pharmaceutical compounds and inhibitors. Ethanolamine is used as a raw material for the synthesis of substituted carboxyl compounds with strong antitumor activity. It is also used to synthesize aminoquinolones with antiplasmodial activity.
Product toxicity
Dilute aqueous solutions of ethanolamine are very weakly alkaline and irritating, but can irritate the eyes, skin and mucous membranes as the concentration increases.

Combustible when exposed to open flame, high temperature and strong oxidizer; reactive and exothermic when exposed to strong acid; emits toxic nitrogen oxides and ammonia fumes when burned.
